Welcome to Volunteer Bridge!
A Message From Our Founder
Hello, friends! I'm Lily Hagan, a Senior at Mount Vernon High School. In my free time, I love competing in business contests, playing the oboe and piano, and cuddling with my two cats, Link and Louie. Inspired by my volunteer work at the Vanderburgh Humane Society in Evansville, Indiana, I founded Volunteer Bridge. I realized that many of my peers didn’t share this experience, sparking the idea to create a platform to promote volunteerism and community engagement.
What started as a local initiative soon evolved into a multifaceted project, involving dedicated teams in Web development, Marketing, and Innovation. Together, we built this comprehensive database website to not only increase volunteerism but also to connect people with opportunities which fit their skills and interests.
I envision Volunteer Bridge as more than just a platform—it's a catalyst for positive change. I invite you to explore our website, learn about our teams, and discover how you can get involved. Whether you're a prospective volunteer, a non-profit, or a business dedicated to social responsibility, Volunteer Bridge is here to connect you to valuable opportunities.
Thank you for collaborating with us here at Volunteer Bridge. Together, let's lift up our communities by lending a helping hand to those in need.
Warmest regards,
Lily Hagan

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Kevin Krizan for his invaluable guidance and support throughout this project. From steering our early-morning meetings to orchestrating collections for our t-shirts, his mentorship has been instrumental in our success. We are equally thankful to the Vanderburgh Humane Society for generously providing space for our meetings, and to the Community Foundation Alliance for facilitating connections with local non-profits.
